BEAUTY ON THE STREET X TARNEE

We spotted Tarnee’s electric orange mane from across the park and we were drawn to her like a moth to a beautiful fiery flame. But it wasn’t until we started chatting up the South African native that we got to know how deep her love for beauty goes (i.e. she *always* makes time to hit up her local nail salon for jaw-droppingly perfect manis). If you’ve ever been tempted to dye your hair a bold hue — or even if you’re not and just want some stellar beauty advice — you won’t want to miss this ep.

so I'm just going to lean into it."

Emily (🙋) can also attest to the solid performance of this souped-up hair colour that goes on evenly, is seriously simple to apply and comes in a myriad of out-there hues. Added bonus: the semi-permanent formula also has a light dose of sparkles in it. When you take off your towel post-dye sesh you feel like an actual unicorn (no joke).

We love a good Canadian beauty buy and this one has earned its place in our showers for good reason. It’s packed with natural hydrating heavyweights, like shea butter and argan oil, to nourish parched strands but won’t weigh them down or leave ‘em feeling greasy. Use straight up or mix in your fave hair dye to pastel-ize the colour for a hint of tint, à la Tarnee.

CND Cuticle Oil Pen.jpg

Do you have a standing date at your local nail salon? (Yay, us too!) One of the easiest ways to extend the life of your latest masterpiece is to regularly dowse cuticles in a moisturizing oil. What’s not as convenient is trekking around a little bottle that inevitably ends in a mess. This pen makes oiling up super easy: Just pop it in your purse and whip out whenever nail beds are feeling dry.
