Beauty on the Street’s next stop? Mega gorgeous new gym Sweat and Tonic on Yonge St in Toronto. The recently opened swanky space is home to HIIT and RIDE studios lined with equipment from Technogym—Italian designed high performance machines that making working out feel super high tech (and dare we say, fun?). The space is also home to the Chi Junky yoga studio which is founded by pint-sized, green beauty-loving yogi Rachelle Wintzen.
Always fresh-faced and with never a hair out of place, we were determined to get the low down on Wintzen’s beauty routine as we knew it wasn’t just her signature Sweat Flow classes that was giving her that glow (although I’m sure they help 😛). Hit play to get the full story on her eco skin care, hair and makeup routine and to learn which Canadian beauty brand was a game-changer for her.
Wintzen pampers herself with one of these babies when she needs a lil’ TLC. Combining the brand’s beloved HydrExtreme formula with charcoal, this mask delivers a suped-up hydrating, nourishing experience. The compostable charcoal-infused bamboo sheet is packed with tall reed extract and poria mushroom to strengthen skin while the charcoal gives skin a gentle detox.

Giving your skin a proper cleanse after a long day is key, especially if your day included working up a sweat! Because Wintzen is a green beauty kind of gal, this foaming face wash would be the perfect fit with her skincare routine. This Canadian-made cleanser is unscented, oil-free and ultra-gentle on even the most sensitive skin types plus white willow bark and apple cider vinegar provide a deep cleanse that won’t leave your skin feeling stripped.

When Wintzen said she swears by this all-natural mascara because it stays put through a sweaty workout and then some we were like, ‘wait what!?’ She’s not the only one praising this vegan lash booster as it’s got page after page of five star reviews on its website. Add that to the paraben and gluten-free formula and very reasonable price tag and we are sold!
