January is in our rear view (sayonara!) and we’re ready for February fun (is that a thing?). Winter is deep in its onslaught of drying out our skin and hair so we’re firmly focused on hydrating formulas right now. And of course, what’s a monthly round up without a little makeup magic via a natural-looking lash boost and a wallet-friendly liquid lipstick we’re both bananas over.

Could this hand cream be any cuter?

Beyond being an adorable orb that nestles perfectly into my go-to crossbody bag, the fragrance-free lightweight formula is equally stellar. Glycerin, aloe and niacinamide, plus jojoba and tea tree oils, make for a hydrating and antimicrobial blend that absorbs in a flash to leave my hands feeling and looking better.

I’m a woman of simple pleasures

and let me tell you, using a little kabuki brush to apply dry shampoo has really been an unexpected highlight for me recently. I love how you can get a more precise oil-absorbing application with this format and the powder itself is lovely. It swaps out talc for tapioca starch and smells like a swanky perfume with notes of bergamot and lemongrass.

Shiny curls are no longer elusive

cuz this in-shower rinse out treatment unleashes next-level radiance. Application is customizable depending on your hair type, so I use the watery liquid after conditioner to transform my dry, dull strands into a mane that’s easier to detangle, instantly softer and, finally, blessed with a reflective finish.

Is there anything this balm can’t do?

Not only is it packed with skin soothers like ectoin and arnica, it stands out from the rest of the barrier building crowd thanks to the growth factor peptides and biomimetic exosomes in its formula. Both ingredients work to support skin recovery and it’s been a complete saviour for me this winter, plus it helped me heal up after a recent microneedling sesh.

These faux lashes hit different for 3 legit reasons.

1: They’re applied using a bonding agent that you swipe onto the under side of your own lash à la mascara (genius!). 2: Short segments that plonk into place > Finicky strips you have to wrestle with. 3: The kit comes with a range of sizes that all have a soft fluttery effect & create a wispy effect that no one can clock as artificial.

You already know we love these lipsticks.

But I just had to keep the convo going about how much we love them. The formula is so velvety and is so easy to blend and blur on the lips while still having serious staying power (but without feeling dry). And Maybelline *really* knocked it out of the park with the shade selection. So many flattering hues for different skin tones! Honestly, no notes.
