Nudging into the holiday season, November is here! Before we get swept up in all the festive fun, we’ve rounded up a handful of our favourite new beauty picks that will help soften the blow of imminent colder weather. To keep our skin barrier thriving, and our makeup routines spicy, we’re reaching for these finds to up our seasonally dipped serotonin levels. The month’s collection includes a nourishing curl cream, a too cool for school fragrance and a saturated liquid lip that’s ready to parrrrrrty.

It takes A LOT for a curl styler to win me over,

but lo and behold this thick gel-cream hybrid leaves my multi-textured curls beautifully defined and touchably soft. It’s loaded with reparative and conditioning ingredients, such as veg protein, amino acids and mango butter, and has a silky slip that’s utterly satisfying.

I have been a cream or liquid blush wearer

for well over a year now, but Wander Beauty’s latest launch has got me falling back in 💙 with powder. The texture is plush and ultra-milled with just a teensy bit of shimmer to give the skin a subtle glow and this specific shade is beyond flattering on my skin tone.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve dabbled with a liquid lip colour,

and this one has pleasantly reminded me that, wow, they hit different. Delivering intense pigment in one swipe, the formula dried down to a light-as-air texture that I didn’t think about once thru an eve of drinks and snacks. The punchy hue was intact until I removed it, and didn’t leave my lips in a dire state of begging for moisture.

I pour time and effort into caring for my face,

but I can’t say the same for my neck and chest—and the damage is really starting to show. This hydrator has everything I look for in a cream: multiple sizes of plumping HA, peptides to help soften those static neck rings and ectoin to boost my barrier. After one week I even saw a change in my shrively chest lines!

Like clockwork, the cold weather

causes a prickly inferno to strike up on my legs and a tradish body cream just doesn’t cut it. A blend of 5% colloidal oatmeal, with lipids and ceramides, this balm helps to soothe itching and irritation while strengthening and hydrating the skin barrier. Plus, it’s clinically-proven to be as effective as one percent hydrocortisone in treating eczema.

For years I’ve been devoted to one scent,

but this new fragrance has me re-evaluating what I wanna smell like. Housed in a cutie lil’ palm-sized bottle, it blends notes of bergamot (my fave), jasmine and moss, plus it’s made with almost 30% perfume oil so it’s got more oomph for longer wear.
